According to DIN VDE 0295 and DIN EN 60228
Copper cables with lead sheath are indoors, outdoors and in the ground, as a lightning rod for industrial plants and buildings, especially in equipment, if similar to the action of solvents fuels, oils, gasoline must be expected. (for example in refineries and gas stations)
The lead sheath is resistant to humic acids and aggressive floor cove-constituents.
